From the Ground Up is a 100% B.C. Conference, Trade Show, and Consumer Show connecting our local food and beverage brands with multi-market channel buyers, industry experts, and consumers.
In 2019, Good to Grow launched the only 100% B.C. trade show. The following year, we added a conference for the exhibitors the day before the show and in 2025 we are adding a third day with the launch of our consumer show!
From the Ground Up is truly a showcase to support the incredible processors, producers, and food landscape we have right here in B.C.
We can’t wait for you to join us in 2025!
3 Days. Endless Opportunties.
DAY 1) June 5: Conference, Hastings Room, PNE, Vancouver
Held the day before the trade show, is the annual From the Ground Up Conference. This day-long event is a gifted value-add for the From the Ground Up exhibitors.
This interactive conference provides a space for expanded learning as well as networking among peers and industry experts. With new information and ideas, participants build readiness to help them diversify and access new market channel opportunities and ultimately grow their business.
The day is always evolving, however in the past it has included sessions by handpicked industry experts followed by open Q&A with the audience. As well as targeted speed networking sessions where exhibitors engage with industry experts on topics spanning across the industry.
DAY 2) June 6: Trade Show, PNE Forum, Vancouver
This industry-only trade show invites:
- buyers from multiple market channels including grocery, food service, and institutional food service (post-secondary and health);
- distributors;
- brokers;
- media;
- investors;
- suppliers;
- service providers;
- and other key members of the food and beverage industry that can help your business grow!
Every exhibitor has a chance to win Outstanding Product of the Year (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) voted on by the attendees (buyers, distributors, and more!). Previous Gold Winners have included Kindred Cultures (2019), Modern Meat (2020), Alkeme (2021), Living Tree Foods (2022), Barnside Brewing (2023), and Hazel’s Ice Cream (2024).
In 2024 we introduced the Best Booth Award, won by Hazel’s Ice Cream!
DAY 3) June 7: Consumer Show, PNE Forum, Vancouver
On the third and final day, the public is invited to walk and shop the show floor!
The exhibitors have a chance to interact with their consumers, gather valuable feedback, make some sales, and tell eager consumers where they can shop their products.
