Remembering Alison
Alison is Andrea’s niece, she was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis at age one – a genetic disorder that causes tumours to form on nerve tissue. She struggled with these tumours all of her life. Alison’s disease may have kept her short in stature at just 4’8” but her impact on the earth was gigantic!

Life was not easy for Alison – her challenges were extreme and there were many hard days, but her resilience is what we remember.

An ardent feminist, protector of LGBTQ2+ rights, animal lover (especially Corgis), and self-proclaimed foodie – Alison’s spirit was strong. She was always fighting for the underdog and making sure nobody was left behind.
